Radiology Services Online-What is the flow of information??

• As the medical staff of a facility orders x-ray exams, approved facility staff will access the site to request the exams on-line.
  
  
• Once the exam is requested, it is placed in an Active Patient List where it will sit until the tech comes to take the x-rays.
  
  
• The tech will access the website to complete the exam and upload the images which will attach directly to the patient record and automatically forward to the radiologist for reading.
  
  
• The Radiologist will access the site and provide his or her findings on the patient record which will then create a printable electronic report that will permanently attach to the patient record.
  
  
• Once the report is posted (anywhere from 10 minutes to 6 hours after the exposure is made), the facility will have immediate access to the results on-line.
  
• At the end of each month, the facilities will receive notice by email that the invoices are ready for them on-line.
  Approved facility staff will access the site and process the invoice for payment.
